Before & After
Entry Foyer
Patched nail holes and scuffs, sanded smooth, then two coats of green on the walls with the door, sidelights, and trim in crisp white.
The Project
The homeowners had lived with a mustard-gold interior for years and were ready for something calmer. Going from a deep warm color to a soft green is not a quick roll-over job: dark colors bleed through, old patches telegraph, and any shortcut shows up the moment the light hits the wall.
We started by moving and wrapping every piece of furniture in plastic, covering the floors edge to edge with drop cloths, and masking all the hardware. Then came the prep: dozens of nail holes, dings, and old repairs were filled, sanded flush, and spot-primed so they would disappear under the new color.
Walls got two full coats of green. Ceilings were refreshed in flat white, and every door, casing, and baseboard was repainted in a clean semi-gloss white so the trim pops against the new color. The result is a bright, cohesive home that feels brand new, with the furniture back in place and not a drop of paint anywhere it should not be.

Nail holes, dings, and old repairs filled, sanded smooth, and spot-primed.
Full coverage over the old gold so the new green reads true in every room.
