FAQ
Most brick mailbox columns land between $1,200 and $2,800 depending on size, brick choice, the cap, and extras like a planter or house numbers. Stone veneer runs higher. You get one written price that covers the footing, materials, removing the old post and cleanup.
Most short garden and property walls land between $45 and $90 per square foot of wall face, depending on height, brick or block, footing depth and finish. Block walls with stucco or paint cost less than full brick. Retaining walls that hold back soil need extra drainage and reinforcement and are priced separately.
Mailbox columns and short garden walls usually don't, but taller walls, retaining walls and anything structural often do, and HOAs in Pooler and Richmond Hill typically want plans approved first. We check the county and HOA rules before we quote so the job doesn't stall halfway.
Often, yes. Loose or cracked brick steps can usually be rebuilt on the existing base: we take the damaged courses down, reset them with fresh mortar and match the brick. If the base itself has sunk or cracked, we show you and quote a full rebuild so the new steps don't fail the same way.
Humidity, heavy rain and sandy soil are the big three. Water that sits behind walls or under footings causes cracks and leaning, so we build on proper footings, leave weep holes and plan for drainage. Mortar also cures slower in humid months, so we protect fresh work from rain for the first couple of days.
